DOMIQ is present in the market since January 2007. In the beginning product development was performed as sole proprietorship. In November 2008 we created DOMIQ limited corporation.

We were focused on simplicity and usability of our products all the time. Very early we decided not to pursue the easiest path, implementation of the HTML pages and software running on standard PCs.

We developed extremely efficient operating environment for Lua virtual machines, which enabled us to reduce size and energy consumption of our server module DOMIQ/Base. In parallel we were working on the DOMIQ/Remote custom application, together with special protocols that reduced delays and cared for users privacy.

The DOMIQ/Remote was the first home automation application for the iPhone and iPod Touch in the world. Our first customers used Cydia based distribution. Few months after, when Apple opened the iTunes Strore and we finished all formalities, including agreements with Apple and USA permission for cryptographic technology export, the DOMIQ/Remote was published on 22nd April 2009.

Currently DOMIQ products are used in many installations in Poland and Europe - both with flats and homes as in largest skyscrapers, where thousands of LCN modules are installed.
