DOMIQ/Meter is a 4-channel, battery backed-up impulse meter module. Its typical application is collecting usage measurements from hot/cold water, electricity and gas meters.

Naturally, the meters can be connected in an arbitrary way. The module has "open-collector" type inputs that can be connected to either regular or reed relays. The metering part has a battery back-u so it can count pulses even in case of the power outage or disconnection from the DOMIQ/Base module.The metering inputs are gavanically separated (up to 2.5kV) from the DOMIQ bus. The inputs are not separated from each other though.

This modules add to the DOMIQ system the following features:

• counting impulses from up to 4 inputs,
• possibility of reporting the energy usage on graphical charts,
• execution of an arbitrary sequence of LCN commands when impulse frequency reaches predefined thresholds
